Yeah, it was pretty funny, actually. At first, I was a little embarrassed. My friend Patrick and I were one of the first to arrive at the theatre, and he insisted in sitting in the front row. And, it's a small theatre....99 seats.

Neal, I am so jealous of you!!

I want to be Mr. Lee too. Of course if they brought me up I'd probably start singing along, so it might not be the best idea.

Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco. Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

Ha, ha.... Well, if you do go see it and get picked as Mr. Lee, let me know.

On Saturday my friend was Miss McPherson and as I mentioned earlier I was the litterer back in March.

Is it really fundamentally any different from THE TAFFETAS?

I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."

I saw the show late in previews and found it to be a fun time, which is exactly what it intended to be (nothing more and nothing less.) Farah Alvin, who was the first cast member to leave, was far and away the best thing about it.

Although I don't think I'd revisit the show under normal circumstances, they're about to have some exciting cast changes over the summer months that may make it worth seeing again.

I'm not sure who's taking over for Victoria Matlock as Cindy Lou, but Lindsay Mendez (of GREASE and EVERYDAY RAPTURE) is replacing Beth Malone as Betty Jean and Kristen Bracken (of HAIRSPRAY and MINSKY'S) is replacing Bets Malone as Suzy.

It should be nice to see performers who actually look age appropriate playing these roles (Bets Malone hardly looked 28 in the second act, let alone 18 in the first.)

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Christina DeCicco will be replacing Victoria Matlock as Cindy Lou, according to her website (christinadecicco.com). She played opposite Victoria on the Wicked tour back in 2007.

I saw the show this afternoon for the second time in hopes of seeing Beth Malone's final performance. Sadly, her final performance unexpectedly was last night (Saturday evening), but the understudy Leslie Spencer Smith did a great job filling her shoes.

Both Bets Malone and Victoria Matlock play their final performances next Sunday afternoon at 3pm. They were both on fire today, especially Victoria, whose "Maybe" in Act 2 was absolutely perfect.

Misty Cotton, as usual, was great.

I'm looking forward to seeing this again with all of the replacements...the show is so much fun.

I know the producers of this released tickets through the end of the year.

Does rush sell out quickly?

I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&. "Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."

When I saw the show, Mr. Lee was a very stereotypical asian tourist, complete with a massive camera around his neck. It's was kinda, well, brilliant. He was very cute with the whole thing.

Neal-Is Kim Huber in it now?

Just got that update myself -- know nothing of the show beforehand, but may have to take a visit up there.

Wonderful actress - seen her in tons of shows over the years @ the Walnut. Glad to see her get a "big" break in NYC! (but will miss her at the Walnut!!)

I'll definitely be returning to see Christina! I've only seen her in Wicked (twice - once being her and Victoria's first performance) and she's incredible so I can't wait to see her do something else! (Although it will be a little strange seeing her do a role I've seen Victoria do before LOL)

I just caught this show last night (I had no idea it was Beth Malone's last) and it was so cute. It took me forever to vote for prom queen because I loved them all!

Yes, Bets Malone gave a short speech about how she hated goodbyes and how Beth was leaving after 243 or so performances.
