Posted: 9/2/12 at 4:03pmEh, it wasn't as good as I had hoped. Hopefully it will get better. I wouldn't peg Ellen Barkin for an Emmy based on the pilot. She was funny, but not anything I would say was Emmy worthy.

I don't think Barkin is headed for an Emmy. Jane Lynch and Megan Mullaly already got all the awards for that part.

Tazber - It premieres Sept. 11.
I was very "eh" about the whole thing. I thought the beginning felt very genuine with Rannells beginning the video to their child, but it fell into the usual superficial Murphy work. I'll give it a few more episodes before I make a final decision.
