I don't love RNJ, but it's not her fault, I just don't love the interpretation she brings.  Her voice is, however, tremendous.

HEDWIG ALERT! After 500 triumphant shows, 6 Hedwigs, 4 Tony Awards, and a flood of blood, sweat and muddy Maybelline tears, Hedwig is putting her wig back on the shelf. John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's landmark musical will play its final performance on Broadway on September 13.

I am so heartbroken and I won't even be able to go to the final show.

I'm sad the show is closing, but I couldn't bring myself to see it with Taye again just to see the show off...

That's a good point. 

 

I I love the show so much but he's so awful and won't even do the show the justice it deserves for its final performance. 

 

Yes I am a Taye hater and I'm pissed.

So sad to see my fears confirmed... I guess now I just hope they bring it to the West End sooner rather than later.
