I had one day in New York last month and I (wisely) chose to run to see this show just in case I wouldn't get another chance. And because I couldn't possibly wait any longer to see it. I'll remember it forever and would have been crushed if I hadn't made it in time. I'm glad for those of you who got to go often.

The London transfer hasn't been officially announced, but it is the plan to do so.
And I know what the pintobeansizedbrain meant to say, but when said by a 10 year old, it's obviously going to make no sense. Like everything else we have to endure from him.

Was lucky enough to catch the penultimate performance of this and was so glad that I did.
While I can see that it wouldn't appeal to everybody I found it brave, beautiful, thrilling and ultimately haunting. A dark glittering jewel of a show. Rivera was magnificent and, although the entrance applause (which stopped the show in its tracks for almost 5 minutes) and general audience hysteria every time she did anything were somewhat at odds with the serious nature of this classy but disturbing production, it still felt incredibly special to be tthere. The rest of the cast were pretty much flawless.
Yes it's a strange piece but exciting original works like this and my beloved Fun Home are what keep the lifeblood of theatre going.
if the rumours are true and this goes to London, I suspect it may go down better there. I would certainly see it again.

I think that is the disc. As far as I know, the digital is still set for this week.
