The Worst Pies in London

Posted: 11/4/07 at 12:25amI'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I heard that "The worst pies in London" is cut from the movie, or not even filmed... Is it true? That would be the worst thing they could do to my favorite musical... If casting Johnny Depp wasn't!

No sir, it wasn't. Not only is it in the movie, but it actually was filmed.

Hmm, which brings me to an interesting idea:
does anyone know where I actually can get London's worst pies??

Posted: 11/4/07 at 11:41amThere's a little dingy rundown pie shop on Fleet Street. Blech. I think there's a barbershop or something above it. It's a pretty dodgy neighborhood anyways, so I'd advise you to steer entirely clear, if not for your personal safety then at least for the well-being of your taste buds.

Posted: 11/4/07 at 12:48pmI dunno, Rose, business has kinda picked up lately. It's weird. Ever since that barbershop went back in business, business at that pie shop has picked up too. My buddy, Danny O'Higgins, went there once (he's this con artist who poses as this Italian barber or whatever) and I haven't heard from him since.

Matt, the barbershop is back? I heard that barber was really good, but I'm afraid to go near it. There's stories of something that happened up there -- something not very nice.
Also, how long has Danny been missing? I mean, I'm sure he's all right, but he's got this young kid working for him I'm worried about. He can't be older than fourteen, and he's a nice enough lad, but not the brightest. I hope he's okay. Poor kid.

I used to frequent Mrs. Mooney's a while back, but been heading to Mrs. Lovett's for seome time now. Her meat pies surpass Mrs. Mooney's by a large margin.

Posted: 11/4/07 at 2:31pmI can't comment on any pies since Michael Ball's been eating them all!

My, I have to pick up a few pies there at some time to see whether it's as bad as it's supposed to be.
Oh, now that you mention it, Roseadams, is that a young lad continuously grumbling about demons who will hurt somebody? I think he's been caught by the police who think he's a cannibal. He's already bitten a police officer
And, devonian.t, as for Michael Ball, he had to eat so many pies, otherwise he'd never fit in Edna's clothes, would he?

That's his excuse!
Still, he washes them down with excellent red wine.

Yeah, I heard it had something to do with the old barber getting transported to Australia and the wife going to a masked ball at the Judge's house. Heard she went kinda nuts. It's funny but the beggar woman who hangs around the place sure looks a lot like her. Danny's been missing since August, I believe. But don't worry about that kid. I saw him working at the pie shop the other day. He'll be all right. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to sit down and have me some of Mrs. Lovett's meat pie (I ordered it to go). Mmmmm, yummmy yummy yu...huh, there's a fingernail in here. Clumsy.
