It's so underrated would be incredibly fun, could probably get a lot of good names attached and it's some of Alan Menken's best music since his 90s Disney hits.

That would actually be fun. I ended up seeing the show 3 times and loved it every time I saw it.

Others have speculated in prior threads the show may be filmed in London with Whoopi Goldberg for a potential cinema release and later streaming on Disney+.

I thought it Died when I saw it in London. Maybe Sister Act Reborn or 2nd Coming !!

I always thought "Back in the Habit" was clever enough. "2nd Coming" isn't bad though. Good job.

It’s a great show and except for the brief gangland murder at the top of Act 1 is pretty much family friendly. The religious themes would likely sell to viewers in the Bible Belt. And even though the film came out nearly three decades ago, it likely still has brand and name recognition. It has a great message of tolerance and acceptance that we could sure use now in this country.
