When I was little, and the weather report talked about the "windchill factor", I thought they were saying "windshield factory". I wondered what was special about the windshield factory and why people would care how cold it was there.
It took me a few years to figur that one out.
"Hello. How are we today? I'm feeling a little blue myself. You know, a little anxious for no particular reason, a little sad that I should feel anxious at this age, you know, a little self-concious anxiety resulting in non-specific sadness: a state that I call 'blue'."

In "The Lion King," during the song "Hakuna Matata," I never realized that Pumbaa was going to say the word "farted" before Timon stopped him by saying "Pumbaa, not in front of the kids!" It took me until I listened to the OBCR to figure that out! Boy, did I feel stupid! :)
