I second On The Town.
KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN would be great. FALSETTOS could be fun as well...how about SEESAW or PROMISES, PROMISES????
Love the SHE LOVES ME idea as well.
Hello, Dolly starring Victoria Clark.
I really hope that they do something with a bit more of a rock/contemporary feel rather than a traditional show. I've enjoyed Dreamgirls, Chess and Hair quite a bit more than, say, On the Twentieth Century and Funny Girl.
I would love if they did PROMISES, PROMISES.
Honey, Honey Come Out of the Dumpster: A Salute to Tina Madigan.
I definitely agree with Tommy! And Seven Brides would be fine also!
SIDE SHOW with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick.

Rath-
I would definitely go see it.
Still sticking with "Carrie". Seth has been making a LOT of noise about it, Buckley and D'Amboise have both said they would do it again, and the timing might be almost right (Although it would fit better next year, being the 20th Anniversary)
SIDE SHOW with Sally Struthers and Debra Monk.
I too love the suggestion of City of Angels. It was one of the first shows I ever worked on in college. Very fun show.
I think West Side Story or Porgy and Bess could be cool.
These are concert stagings...WEST SIDE STORY would loose a lot of oomph and be pretty pointless in a concert staging.
PORGY AND BESS is coming to Broadway.

CAROUSEL
HELLO DOLLY
CAMELOT
I'd love to see an old classic dusted off...I doubt that's what will happen.

Although I know they'd never do it, I've said this before, I would love to see them do PAGEANT.
MACK AND MABEL
HELLO, DOLLY!
PROMISES, PROMISES
CARRIE
are all good candidates, too.

I might end up being Carrie. I think Seth has had his mind on that for a while.
YEs- we have to remember that this is Seth.
I think that CARRIE, CITY OF ANGELS, FALSETTOS, PROMISES PROMISES would be more something he'd choose.

I suggest SOMETHING'S AFOOT starring Angela Lansbury as Miss Tweed. No recording was ever made- true it is a somewhat slight score- but I think Angela as the Miss Marple-ish detective would be amazing. My dream cast would be:
Miss Tweed - Lansbury
Nigel Rancour- Stephen Bogardus
Geoffrey- Stephen Pasquale
Col. Gillweather- Len Cariou
Hope Langdon- Laura Benanti
Flint - Gavin Lee
Dr. Grayburn- Gary Beach (the original Nigel!)
Lady Grace Manley-Prowe- Christine Ebesole, Patti Lupone or Michele Pawk
Lettie- Andrea McArdle
Clive- Bob Martin
If it is PROMISES, PROMISES I hope Andrea McArdle is one of the Frans. I think she would sing the heck out of KNOWING WHEN TO LEAVE.

What about DEAR WORLD with Lansbury returning to the role of the Countess? Put Georgia Engel ("dickie") and Joanne Worley ("voices") as the other two madwomen. Cast Aaron Lazar as the nephew, the young belter of the moment in the Pamela Hall role and the rest would be easily cast. I think it would be a thrilling evening- as long as the dreadful title song is dropped.
I don't think Seth Rudetsky would go for something like MACK & MABEL, and really, do we need yet another concert staging of MACK & MABEL? I'd love to at least see a semi-staged Encores! concert instead of it getting the usual concert treatment with a plethora of actors singing each number.
PROMISES, PROMISES would be right up Seth's alley and it's a great show with a great score. Plenty of chances for different stars to get a good number and it'd be successful.
FALSETTOS is definitely something I'd see Seth doing as well and it'd be fun to see who gets cast.
SueSnell, I've heard Andrea sing "Knowing When to Leave" and it is fantastic.
