Into the Woods
Songs For a New World
City of Angels
So far, my favorite suggestions have been Promises, Promises, Carrie and Jesus Christ Superstar, though JCS is really too oft-produced to qualify.

Seth is like the high school director you bug to find out what shows you are doing. Like he has had that on his mind...I hope they don;t do that my seinor year. haha.
What the hell?
Someone said he had "Carrie" on his mind...it reminded me of when I was in High School and people would bug the director to find out next year's show.
You need work at getting your thoughts across via text...
umm....whatever.
Oh I definitely hope he doesn't do SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, only one of the most overdone least interesting shows out there, IMO.
Lestat.
Maybe he can get Nathan Lane as Claudia!

Falsettos is my vote! lol.
Does anyone think that a coherent story line could be put into Songs For A New World?
SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD isn't about a story line. If you think that it is, then you're totally off.
A show that small would be pointless and an utter bore in a cast like this.
Well I know it isn't. But could one take the songs and re-arrange them and make a singular story out of it?
I could.
Shows like 7 BRIDES are really too dance heavy for the limited rehearsal period - and something like THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD isn't really ideal for a concert staging.
The problem is of course that most of the shows that are appropriate for this are in some kind of "rumored for Broadway revival" state, and rights probably wouldn't be granted: MAME, DOLLY, THE WIZ, etc...
Of the shows mentioned, I like the idea of SMILE, TOMMY, & CITY OF ANGELS.
CARRIE really would be a perfect choice because they aren't ever going to do it at Encores and its unlikely to ever get a Broadway return. I'm not really sure Buckley could sing the role of Margaret anymore but I'd love to hear her try.

Seth dosen't like No, No Nanette.
I e-mailed him and asked what show it will be this year and this is what he told me:
"We're doing a big Brian Stokes Mitchell concert at Carnegie Hall....but I'm also gonna do Broadway 101 again!"
So, no show, but sounds like a great concert!!
The DROOD idea is interesting, I know Seth is a big fan so its possible.

I think that Promises, Promises might be fun- I know that Seth LOVES Turkey Lurkey...
Anything Goes! I have been crossing my fingers for any sort of revival of this show for years now! It needs to be back on a New York stage and this is the perfect opportunity.
Hands down it has to be:

Too bad we only get a Brian Stokes Mitchell concert. lol. I love Brian but I was looking forward to a big show like Whorehouse this year!
I still think an All-Star INTO THE WOODS would be stunning.
ANYTHING GOES...pure joy.
ya. an all star cast would be cool.
maybe ebersole as the witch, laura bell bundy as red riding and michael cerveris as the wolf.
it's at least fun to think about.
Laura Bell Bundy is not only at least 12-13 years too old for the role but she also lacks the spark, comic timing, and edge that made Danielle Ferland's Little Red Riding Hood so memorable.
Plus, INTO THE WOODS would be a bit too boring for Actor's Fund. SEESAW would be great if they did it in the style of FUNNY GIRL and HAIR as opposed to DREAMGIRLS and CHESS.
Grease haha??
They could do an All-Star Godspell. I am running out of ideas of shows that would be good.
