twice today,
1) When I walked into "The Wall" (music/video store) and saw Spelling Bee happily residing on a prominent shelf in the front of the store.
2) Getting my popcorn at the movie theater, and, lo and behold, Dirty Rotten Number come on overhead...following the song, they gave info on how to get tickets for the show and how to get to the website...even in DC there's a little bit of NY.
For heaven's sake, don't try to be cynical. It's perfectly easy to be cynical.

Posted: 6/9/05 at 12:25amI've definetely heard both "Once Upon a Time" (is that the name of that Brooklyn song?) and "Here I Am" from DRS playing in movie theaters here in LA. It weirds me out.

Posted: 6/9/05 at 12:27amYeah imagine me, walking into a random movie theatre 10 miles outside of Milwaukee and hearing "I Believe In Miracles" (I think that's the title) from Brooklyn playing. I almost dropped my popcorn.
BSoBW2: I punched Sondheim in the face after I saw Wicked and said, "Why couldn't you write like that!?"
