Thoughts on the Broadway Wine Club?

Has anyone seen this?

I'm wondering if it's actually being operated by someone(s) with legitimately Broadway ties and experience, or just someone trying to attach themselves to the community.

The wines are actually not that cheap. At least not in the places I looked. Wondering which Crocker and Starr wine they are using for the "Ghostlight" wine.

The fact that they say on their website that Jagged Little Pill would have swept the Tonys this year leads me to believe that no one with any serious ties to Broadway is involved and it’s just a business model conceived by some fan gurls.

Seems like it was put together quickly and without much thought. How much is shipping? Is this a one time purchase or recurring shipment? Also seems like there's no connection to Broadway other than a custom label they slapped on a bottle?

Also interested in this b/c it popped up on my FB page last week and I love wine. The company seems pretty legit.

It looks like they updated their website since you posted this and SpotCo -the marketers behind Kinky Boots, Almost Famous, and basically every other popular Broadway show, are founding partners. Same with the founders of RCI and Vivacity Media Group.

OMG and Drew Hodges - who did the Hamilton Creative Direction is designing their premiere bottle.

I'm actually pretty interested...

This looks interesting and it looks on the level...and I love me some wine but I'm already part of the TCM Wine Club so I'll take a pass...wish them luck though...
