I'm trying to figure out how many plays and musicals have scenes where objects are being placed on graves or in graves. The one the comes to mind are the flowers in Spring Awakening... but are there other scenes like this in other shows?

At the start of the movie "The Opposite of Sex," Christina Ricci's character throws something into someone's grave (maybe a cigarette). I know they made a musical of it... not sure if the scene made it to the adaptation, but I always remember thinking it was really funny.
