I was thinking the same exact thing!! Cheaper than a movie! 

Worried about this show. Some great talent in that cast!

It's strange how the marketing material makes a big deal about Marilu Henner. She's not that big.

Marilu Henner is a name that many people will recognize, so it would be strange if they didn't make a big deal about it. They need all the help they can get.

I think they only use that version of the ads when they are targeting older people.

Even if it weren't a stunt, human error is not a "glitch." It's an error. "Glitch" implies an uncontrolled technical malfunction. This was entirely a manual "error."

Exactly. The old adage that even bad publicity is good publicity is not entirely true. A publicity stunt should make people excited about your product/company, not make you look incompetent.

Agreed.

I think that it wasn't so much a publicity stunt as Ken trying to fill the house, and getting caught in the act of slashing prices.

It's Ken what did we expect? 

He needs help selling his show and is doing anything he can to make that happen. 

Also, notice how it's only for previews. They are hoping that post opening the show will have gained enough traction to not need to discount so severely(we shall see)

Article said through August 17. Opening night is August 13.
