...yikes.
Is this a joke? I am amused.
"Most ticks "hang out" on vegetation such as plants, trees, weeds, or grass in wooded areas. Generally, ticks are found where they are most likely to come in contact with animals- near streams, lakes, or by a path animals are known to travel daily for food or water. Some ticks also are found in nests, burrows, and places where their animal hosts live and sleep."
I don't think they can live in seat cushions. I can't believe the Daily News published that article. Well, I guess I can believe it.

They probably brought the damn things with them from Mississippi.
You'd think if there was really a problem that there would have been other complaints.
I have never had a problem with a tick at the ambassador...But that is scary if there is really a tick problem.

It's good that The Daily News knows how to spell Shubert, eh?
"Well, we ain't stupid," Green said. "We're from Mississippi and we know what ticks are."
I BELIEVE THEM, mostly because they AIN't Stupid. :rolls eyes:
this story made me laugh...I really want to know how this turns out!

I agree with that. I seriously doubt that there is a tick problem in the Ambassador Theatre in NYC.

A hundred bucks says they had the ticks on them and didn't notice - I really, really doubt they picked them up at the theatre. I had three ticks on me, once, and didn't notice for at least two hours.
"We saved one of those ticks, we have it in a plastic bag"
nice!
At least they kept a tick as a momento. A souvenir, if you will.
Aha, That was amusing.
What scares me is that they paid 111 dollars each to see the show. I think I paid like 40.
