"to re-tell the real story of Oz."
Bitchy little dig at Wicked's revisionism.

I am more excited about this than Love Never Dies.
ALW's music has never been more on point than with Rice's lyrics.
I can see this show being a huge money maker and probably running longer than LND.

Well this is promising.
Now if only rice would work on "retelling the story of 'Love Never Dies' "

Makes me more interested in it, I suppose.
""retelling the story of 'Love Never Dies' ""
..Because Rice could ever get a successful story out of a Chess game....They need a true playwright to get the story right & interesting for LND.

Would I rather hear songs by Arlen and Harburg, or those by Lloyd Webber and Rice? Wait a minute, this is hard, let me see ...
JUST STOP THEM NOW.

I can't imagine Harold Arlen and Andrew Lloyd-Webber being in the same room, let alone the same show!
(That is, were Harold Arlen alive and not senile, as he would be over 100 years old.)

I'm more concerned with Rice's lyrics... who can TOUCH, let alone match, Yip Harburg's whimsy, word-play and rainbow tinted language?
