yes! no more pop stars in rent!
Oh thank you Jesus.
There is a GOD !!!
I was just about to put the exact same thing SUM. Oh well, I will do it anyway.
THANK YOU JESUS. It's like Church up in here
I think he would have been great as Mark.
I think that JT could have been great in the film. Guess we'll never know?
He might have been able to pull off Mark, but why chance it? Plus I hate him anyway, so thank god he's out. Maybe now we can start some REAL cast speculation...
JRB,
Apparently not everyone read your thread on the OT board and the points we both made.
Actually I did read it and I found it rather bland and self-controlling....
Ooooh...to have self-control! How boring!
Just know that what you put out there comes right back at you. If you're up for it, great. If not...well...I'm far too bland to speculate here!
let's not celebrate just yet. there are plenty of worse pop stars than timberlake they may try and put in. and you NEVER know when Hasselhoff is going to find his way into something.

Hey, I have a great idea. Why don't we hold off the celebration until this movie actually gets a timetable so we know it's for real? Otherwise you'll be waiting in eager anticipation for years while nothing comes.
Isn't it already in pre production? I thought RENT and SWEENEY TODD were a go... Updated On: 7/13/04 at 05:23 PM
Perpetual anticipation...and all that, right?

To put it simply, all movie rumors are nothing but rumors pretty much until filming starts. And even then there might be changes, a la Dougray Scott and Hugh Jackman. Sweeney Todd is supposed to be directed by Sam Mendes, but who knows when he'll get around to it? Rent has gone through what, 3 prospective directors already? These projects can linger in preproduction Hell for years or never get made at all.
Dougray Scott.
Bet he's crying over his spilled milk.
actually, it was a milk-shake. thank you very much.
