To people who spend hours everyday on BWW

I am curious as to what profession (if at all) you have that allows you to spend countless hours each day on this board.

I walk up and down a runway once in a while. Or I stand in a cold dark room in front of a camera once in a while. Most of the time, though, I don't work. I just go to the gym and wait for my agent to book something else for me. Oh, as some of you know, I also make some extra money every now and then -- but that usually takes no more than 45 minutes, unless they pay for a second hour.

At the moment I'm listening to a conference call, watching on PC crunch about 7,000,000 calculations, and doing this.

See I wrote the program to do the calcualtions, so I have time to do crap like this.

I have a job that pays decently and doesn't require a lot of anything.

I'm in an accounts receivable office. I apply payments; it allows 99.9% of my brain ample opportunity to wander elsewhere. Plus, I need to be done in time for others to apply the payments inside our billing system so the nature of my job insists I be done a couple hours before everyone else.

Zola - I don't need to work, so what I do with my time is basically determined by my identified needs and wants. In a weird way, since I'm trying to work at getting some writing ready for potential publication, this board has given me the opportunity to exercise using only the written word as a form of communication.

Just as an observation, what I've noticed is quite a few people who are able to monitor the site while they still attend to their work.

I consult for the Kennedy Center ..and finally have a day off....yay!!!
But I have gotten in trouble countless times for being here when im supposed to be working , whatever I dont know what there problem is ....they think im supposed to be doing presentations instead of being addicted to a websie ..Some People !

I'm a university student....a music student at that.
So when my phys ed/ english student housemates are studying, I'm relishing the fact that I sing for a degree, and spending time on BWW.com.

I'm a student, but I do independent study which allows me to do all my work at home. And I am wealthy as my Mom makes enough money for the both of us. But I do have a source of income via selling my belongings that I no longer want and or need on Amazon.com. We're moving is all. But, yeah, it's great cuz' I can get rid of some of this stuff and it's quick cash.

I work at a College/Hospital, so when my doctors are in the OR or Clinic I'm on BWW or ebay.

I used to live here over the summer, but now school's started up and time is limited.

In answer to the original question, if people have desk jobs it's pretty easy to monitor the boards all day, just keep a window open and post in spare moments.

other than that I do a little bit of dog-walking and some independant work for my dads company back in STL

I have a setup similar to Robbie J's -- I am grossly overpaid to do very little. I sorta do work while I check on this site and others, but frankly I'm not supervised by anyone and no one really cares how much or how little I do, so it's hard to stay motivated to do anything at all. And I'm getting a raise next week!

I am a nanny for a 9 month old so whenever he is napping (which is 4 hours, 2, 2 hour naps a day) I get to play online! And then when and if I don't have an audition in the afternoons then I am home watching the boards!

I'm a college student and currently unemployed so as long as I'm not in class or have other things to attend to I can spend my time here!
