Does anyone what time does TodayTix usually stop selling tickets for a show (1 hour before curtain, 2 hours before curtain, etc.)?
I believe it's an hour before curtain, because the rep must be in front of the theatre a half an hour before to give you your tickets. I think the latest I reserved tickets was an hour and a half before curtain.

Reps are usually at the theatre a half hour before curtain, but counting in runners getting tickets and reps getting to the theater... you should at least, to be safe, order tickets at least 1 1/2 hour before curtain.

When I got to the Lyceum the line for the their rep was so long I actually thought it was the ticket holder line to get into the theatre. Are they really worth it?
(I've heard a lot of the box offices hate them, on a related note, for business reasons I can't mention here.)
They can be very worth it, considering it's a free service. Was that line for THE VISIT? It was routinely twenty bucks.

For "business reasons I can't mention here" ? I think it's pretty clear to most why box offices would hate this service...

No it was last night, actually at Bridge which surprised because I thought the show was selling well in previews
GreasedLightning, it's not for reasons you or I would normally assume.

Thank you all for the information. I wanted to try for a lottery and see if i would have time to buy tickets with some credits I have on the app if I didn't win the lottery.
Each individual box office arranges the off-sale time with TodayTix. They usually suggest an hour and a half before curtain to the box office, but some theatres want it 2 or 3 hours before curtain. Off-Broadway houses (most of whom do not use the "concierge" service and import the orders themselves) often do at least 2 hours prior to ensure they have plenty of time to get the TodayTix orders squared away. For many Broadway shows, its a 90 min cutoff.

It depends on the show. I've had hits and misses whereas TodayTix is concerned, sometimes realizing that I would have been better off going through the box office for the same price to get a better seat than what TodayTix gave me. Unless I have credits, I rarely use the service now because I like knowing my seat number in advance and I like receiving Audience Rewards points through formal online purchases.
