I've tried and failed miserably to get rush tickets to Dear Evan Hansen and Streetcar. I've woken-up at 9:59am and hovered over the button and still I get the "all tickets are in people's carts." Like, I literally clicked the button at 10:00am, how is that possible?! Anyone have any advice as to how I can secure tickets? I reaaaalllyyy want to see both of these shows.

Yea, it's quite ridiculous. I've had the same with Dear Evan Hansen. But there is a good chance it will come to Broadway I think, so you can still catch then if you miss it now.
Doesn't Streetcar have some in person lottery/rush as well? I might be making that up but I feel like I read something...

I've tapped it at 9:59 constantly and nothing, then when I tap it the very instant my phone clicks to 10 they're in other people's carts. It's insanity.

It's so irritating. I hate it. At least an in person rush I have a chance. But now I have to compete with 800 people sitting at their desks. It's so annoying. Damn you TodayTix!

In my experience, I set an alarm for 9:45 and opened the app before moving onto the actual show page around 9:50 and refreshing over and over. I kept going despite it saying the tickets were in people's carts, and was able to get the one ticket I needed. Just because it says they're in someone's cart, does not mean it's done and over - wait until it says sold out.
