I was poking around the app this morning and noticed a new (to me) fee structure. I'm familiar with the standard $7.50/ticket in NYC (or $12.50 if you are forced to pick up from a person standing 15 feet away from Will Call). It used to be $5/10, and their initial marketing was that fees were flat. Now, for tickets priced around $100-150 (not sure where the boundaries are, maybe 100.01-149.99) it's $14.99/ticket. For $150 and above (at least up to 249), the fee is $19.99/ticket. When did this change? (I'm strictly in the sub-$50 club so I've never run into this previously)

That sounds like some broadway.com style bs. Ugh I hate ticket sellers.

I stopped using TodayTix, it’s no longer a bargain, fees much too high.

Absolutely agree. I only se them for lottery or rush tickets, but still high fees on those as well.
While this disappoints me (TodayTix was the first thing that helped me get affordable tickets when I moved here), this forces me to figure out the other options of ticket deals.
Sad that they are going the route of many rip-off seller sites.
I stopped using TodayTix when they got rid of their referral program. With my referral vouchers, I saved money on tickets. Now they’re prices are no better than any other ticket selling agency and what set them apart from their competition was the very thing they did away with.

I only use them for lotteries as well, they don't have any fees for lottery tickets. Not sure about rush tickets though.

Unfortunately they DO have fees on rush tickets (almost always $7.50, as far as I've seen), which I think is so annoying.
TodayTix used to be a good deal but now seems pretty indistinguishable from any other reseller.
Here in Chicago, it's still pretty affordable with $5 ticket fee for most shows, but it makes me worried for when it seeps into the Chicago market. I really love using the app here.
