Kiril played the Wednesday matinee on 1/21. I don't know what that means about the rotation, though.
As for his voice cracking, I didn't hear a thing, and I was a pretty successful boy soprano back in the day, so I think I would have noticed. Sometimes he was clearly using a "head voice," but his "chest voice" wasn't really lower than that, only louder, and there was no huskiness in the tone.
Trent is the one with the huskiness, even if Kiril is the one with the height.
thank you!
i'm guessing that means i won't be seeing kiril tonight, which is a good thing. don't get me wrong, i really enjoyed his performance the last time i saw the show, i was just hoping i'd get to see one of the other billys this time - and it's looking like i will
I walked by the theater, while heading to Equus last night, and asked one of the attendees in the lobby who was on as Billy -I was told Trent.
I haven't figured out the rotation as some have, but using process of elimination, tonite should be David.
JESS: Would you mind posting or PMing me who is on tonite since I am going tomorrow. I've seen both Kiril and David multiple times and due to see Trent, but it doesn't look promising. (I can still be hopeful.) Thanks!
PS- I apologize in advance and didn't mean to change the subject of the thread.

I can't get the link right now, but there's an item on the front page of carpetbagger.nytimes.com that has an interview with Stephen Daldry, who just picked up an Oscar nom for "The Reader". The writer states that he was at the Imperial rehearsing a fourth Billy whom he calls "Little Tommy".
They had u/s rehearsal yesterday and from the few numbers I caught Tommy looked GREAT! They also had Keean running through as Michael and the bit I caught of "Expressing Yourself" was also really good.
wow, that's great!
i'd love to see keean perform a larger role like michael or billy. i know he went through the billy 'boot camp' right before the billys were chosen, so i'm sure he's a very talented kid.

Does anyone know next week's rotation?
Sorry I don not know this weeks rotation for billy or michael. Not to be mean but wasn't tommy rehearsing as billy about a month and a half ago or close to the end of previews from gregs behind the scenes video blog from broadway.com . For me if tommy is going into the rotation, and it is going fine with an three billy rotation. Keenan looks more like an billy than tommy is. I hope they announce if they are putting tommy in as billy and keenan as michael for their rotation, unless they are preparing for an vacation for a billy or michael. I wish they would put the ballet girls names they have for one another in the playbill.

I don't suppose he said anything about any of the other three boys leaving? I'm hoping they're just going into a 4-Billy lineup.

I'm going February 19th...
If it goes, Tommy then continues as Trent, David, Kiril, I'm seeing Kiril. I really wish I knew. I have seen David, and hes was amazing but I would love to see someone else in the role.

I'm seeing it February 3. I wonder who's going on, since it's KNOB and the show has been sold out for months...
I am just guessing David because if I remember right he did the dress rehearsal which is smaller than being in the first preview and opening night. I do remember Frank Dolce on as Michael for the dress rehearsal so I wouldnt be surprised if he was Michael when you go that night. Also, remember wednesday night is also KNOB, so its all up in the air but I have a feeling you will be seeing David as Billy and Frank as Michael. Have a wonderful night.
Any official confirmations that Tommy Batchelor's first performance os Tuesday, February 10? Thanks in advance...

Feb 3rd? It's a Tuesday... I'm going as well and I'm curious as to who's going on. Not that I didn't enjoy his performance, but I'd rather see Trent or Kiril then david... again. It would be nice to see the others...

Without a Trace: The show has never publicized in advance which Billy will play a particular day. I'm sure February 10th is not an exception. I REALLY don't mean for that to sound flipant, sorry if it does.
