iTunes has the 2012-2016 shows available for purchases at (I believe) $4.99 each for HD. 2017 hasn't shown up. Anyone heard if they still plan on releasing each year this way?
(Guessing older years won't likely be available due to digital rights not having been negotiated at the time... I assume.)
You can at least purchase the performances from last year's telecast on Amazon. Though given Kevin Spacey's sex allegations, I'd be surprised if they actually release the whole telecast at this point.
Yikes... I didn't even think about the Kevin Spacey factor. iTunes may still plan on releasing them, but skip 2017's.
Spacey's opening number was deleted for purchase on Amazon around the same time he was replaced in the film "All The Money In The World." Yet his closing number with Patti LuPone is still available for sale. He was one of my least favorite Tony Awards hosts so it's no great loss. The fact that Amazon is charging $2.99 for each of the musical numbers is a shame since in previous years you could buy the whole complete telecast for $4.99.
