Does anybody know if Green Day is going to the Tony Awards?

They will be in the middle of a European tour and are playing in Austria the night before so it's hard to say.

Yes, Green Day will be attending the Tony Awards (Billie Joe Armstrong answered this question on some Hollywood related program). They are performing at a festival in Austria on Saturday 6/12, so they are not the headliners... which means they do their set and leave.

They are flying into New York Sunday morning so they'll be in the city for several hours prior to attending the 2010 Tony Awards.
