Sticking with the same host three years in a row is definitely...well, stale...but Hugh Jackman seems to be very popular with the world at large, so that might be the best way to draw a crowd. Besides, even those posters who don't see him as the ideal host would still watch, because...well, let's face it--we all love Broadway around here! :0)
But if you kiss me,
If we touch,
Warning's fair:
I don't care
Very much

I have not lost my taste for Hugh. Please no puppets!! John Lithgow and Norbert Leo Butz would be fun to see co host.

"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer

Hugh Jackman isn't that popular here. No one knows the name, just the face. "Oh, that's right. He's that Wolverine and Van Heisling guy..."
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I don't think Butz and Lithgow should host - if you're in a show that's nominated (of if you're nominated,) just sit in the audience and enjoy the show. I hated that Jackman basically presented himself the Tony last year.

And the title is misleading...the host will not be announced next week for sure - they were last year - that means nothing.

Ahem...

"Last year, the host was announced on March 4.

Of course it doesn't have to be released next week, but it could be any time now."

Don't bother to read my wonderfully written posts, eh? Of course you have to use misleading titles. It's fun!
