A friend of mine suggested taking a drink everytime Sondheim is showered with love. If I included myself in that I would end up completely hammered by the end of the broadcast!

Take a drink every time South Pacific wins something.
Take a drink every time someone mentions The Little Mermaid/Young Frankenstein/Glory Days.
Take a drink every time someone foreign wins something.
Take a drink every time a presenter reads an unpronounceable (or mispronounced) name. With all the ITH nominees, you'll be buzzed.
Take a drink every time a Broadway legend appears on stage and there is an applause longer than 5 seconds.

It's going to be a long morning--- I'm in a rehearsal that night, so I'm waiting until the next morning to watch. =)

I think I'll watch it with my Mom and take a drink every time she doesn't know who the person on the screen is. This is the woman who, when I told her I met Jullianne Moore, went, "Who is that?"

I'd be ****ed up after the first two categories!

Drink everytime someone hits a flat note (not limited to performances).
