#2Too many revivals
Posted: 6/7/14 at 10:55pmYeah, the four revivals that opened on Broadway this season really pushed out the new musicals.

Posted: 6/7/14 at 10:59pmAnother easy fix. If you prefer new musicals to revivals, since both will occur, only attend the new musicals. You are in complete control of the ratio of new musicals to revivals that you see, to the point where you can see only new musicals.

Posted: 6/7/14 at 11:02pmYeah, the two totally confirmed revivals next season are really pushing out new musicals.
#5Too many revivals
Posted: 6/7/14 at 11:07pmSo right! Off I go to write a new musical and get it green lit! Because it's totally easy which is why there are so many!

Don't hesitate to try Off-Broadway and Off-off-Broadway.
Please.
#7Too many revivals
Posted: 6/8/14 at 1:22amOnce the TONYs are over and down with for this year, you'll hear more announcements for next year. I mean, this time last year did we know Gentlemen's Guide was opening? Or Holler If Ya Hear Me? Not every show has a big, major out of town tryout.

The problem isn't too many revivals. It's too many BAD revivals.
