The interlude between "The Barber and his Wife" and "The Worst Pies in London"

so thrilling!

AND then Angela Lansbury shoves that pie down and yells, "A customer!"

I can't really think of any others at the moment... I'll get back to ya.

my number one moment ever is in ragtime when little coalhouse comes running out at the very end and they're one happy family. and then coalhouse and sarah come back, and the whole cast sings a huge reprise of wheels of a dream. BEST. THING. EVER!

In no order:

1.) The auction into the overture (chandelier rising) in PHANTOM
2.) Bernadette Peters' ROSE'S TURN
3.) Mary Stuart Masterson's brilliant performance in NINE
4.) The end of RENT when Mark's video is playing on the wall, then at the very end Angel runs out and joins them all.
5.) When Hedwig gives with wig to Yitzhak and she takes over.

There's aren't my top 5 EVER, just what came to my mind first.

And can I just say that the fact that someone's best moment in their entire life was at Idina Menzel's final performance is infcredibly scary? Honey, ask your parents for a life and some therapy.

From my theatregoing experience (in no particular order):

- "One Day More" from LES MIZ. The perfect Act I finale.

- The gorgeous melodies intertwining in the opening "A New World" from SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD.

- "Circle of Life" from THE LION KING (what glorious, theatrical pageantry)

- "You Can't Stop the Beat" from HAIRSPRAY (I thought the roof was going to explode)

- Ned Weeks' scream as the lights go out in THE NORMAL HEART (Esparza added this himself).
