It makes me upset.

The Avenue Q one with Sock Puppets (above) is worse!
Personally I don't have any issues with the word "f**k" so it doesn't bother me. And the songs makes a good point that is better expressed with a word that gets people's attention. As long as the teachers are fine with it I don't see a problem. Though I love how they performed "Totally F**ked" with choreography from "Don't Do Sadness".
this just makes me hate SPRING AWAKENING even more.

I wanna see the song with sticks!
ETA: FOUND IT!
eh, it wasn't that atrocious, could've been much worse imo.
could've had more energy and the ending section could've been alot tighter. I think the fact that they were also only accompanied by a piano set them back.

yeah, the vocals actually weren't all that bad. Not amazing, but not terrible!
The problem was just that they did NOT know how to get the ATTITUDE of the piece. You really can't do that song and just stand there singing it. It is the single BIGGEST moment of release in the show- that moment where there's sooooooo much tension built up, and THIS is that release of tension. If you just stand there and sing it, sounding fine but not having any of that energy to back it up, it's so AKWARD. haha
omg. WHY?
There's 12 year old performing this.

I think an important part of this show is to feel the energy of the song through the music. Being accompanied by a piano just makes it drag and feel REALLY boring.
Ohh...and BTW. It's not a high school! It's part of a theatre conservatory program.
I love the girl soloing off during the "Blah"s with her own little riff. Sooo fetch.
I thought they sounded really good.
At the end, when they run up the aisles...bad idea.
Agreed-- the girl with her own solo "blahs" was sooooo funny.
