Has he gone on yet? I'm dying to hear reviews.

Trent has yet to go on.
Kiril was on for the invited dress rehearsal, David did the final run through, Kiril did the first preview, David was on Thursday night, Kiril was on last night, and David was on at the matinee today.
Trent was scheduled to go on Friday night but Kiril was put on at the last minute (no one has heard why.)
Any word on if it's Kiril or Trent tonight?
Hmm that's interesting. I wonder why Trent didn't go on last night. Maybe tonight he will.
They are holding Trent back because he played Billy in london and so they wanna get the other boys up to speed
I figured that was why, but then people were saying that Trent posted a blog last night saying that he'd be going on (last night), but deleted it a few hours before the show. That threw me off a little.
So we can bet that it'll be Kiril tonight?

Trent actually may go on tonight though because they wouldn't put David on since he performed the show this afternoon and Kiril did it last night.
I'm thinking that maybe they'll just finish out this week with Kiril on tonight and have Trent go on next Wednesday. (Which is their next show after tonight.)
I hope Trent goes on tonight though.
Has anyone gone to the stage door and see if Trent was going to be the understudy if God forbid anything happened to Kiril. When I went on Oct. 1st and saw Kiril , Trent was at the Stage Door.
Could an unforeseen voice change have rendered Trent Kowalik useless?
That sure would suck- to have your voice change days before your Broadway debut...
I do wonder what has happened to him...
great now he'll be in 13... jk When I met him on Wed he seemed to have his boy voice. "it sounds wrong I know"

OMG this really makes me want to see Trents first show because I bet it will be amazing although all do respect to David and Kiril who are prolly awesome to, LOL, but you know its like when you are waiting for the magician to do the very big finale you get all psyched for it and by holding Trent back that makes his Broadway preview debut even more exciting and everybody wants to see it! LOL

Trent has not yet had the opportunity to do a full tech run of the Broadway show. They had intended for him to have one prior to Friday night, but apparently other rehearsal priorities took up time, and Trent was never able to get in a full tech run before Friday. Then due to some recent malfunctions with the set, it was decided on the day that he was to go on, that it wasn't safe enough for Trent to do the show. (Both David and Kiril had already had full tech run throughs.)
Trent now has a full tech run scheduled for an evening early in the week. As we've learned, anything can happen! But fingers crossed for both the tech run to go as now scheduled and for Trent to finally make his Broadway debut this coming week (hopefully on Wednesday)!

Do kid's voices really just change overnight? Come on now. If that was the case there would have been at least weeks of warning.
Considering all the technical issues they were having last night with the set, I am glad that they are playing it safe and making sure Trent has a full tech run-through before letting him take on the role.
OMG I just have to know all the information about Kiril David and Trent and whos going on when and if someone's voice is going to change and everything else. I wish someoone here new for sure, because its killing me to know why one of them didn't go on and the other wwent on twice in a row and the other one went on once or three times. LOL.

Richard-Jay Alexander on a boy who played Gavroche:
"He did a matinee, then came out in the evening performance and his voice had dropped. He went out for Chinese food and came back a baritone."

One of my friends who did the Billy Elliot workshop said he was kicked because his voice changed. It happened very quickly to him. He said many of the boys he knew including Trent were showing minor effects of voice changing.
I don't know if this would have any relevance, but they did have a casting call in the city yesterday for Michael and Billy. Not sure if it would have to do with voice changes or anything, just saying.

There already casting the replacement Billy's being that the boy's voice and height could change at any second. Also they can cast American's for the other productions around the world.

I can't keep all the various K's in this cast straight LOL
Remember Peter Brady's voice changed between the time Greg wrote the song, booked the studio, and got the other kids in. The same thing could happen at any time to any number of Billy Elliotses.
I hope they have a nice severence pays for if they have to fire a Billy because of that. LOL

Trent has once again confirmed he will be on, it seems like he's been checking on us.
Trent's new blog.
I hope they allow Trent to post his weekly performance schedule on his blog. I really want to see all three boys perform Billy, and that would make it somewhat easier to plan.
