I'd go Doyle over Riabko in a heartbeat...though I guess Kyle and Aaron do look a bit alike.

Skylar's got a pilot and living in LA now, so it's not going to be him.

Leaving the day of the Tonys makes sense considering last year Chester Gregory left Cry Baby on Tony day to also go to Seattle when he was still in Shrek, which also played in the summer like CMIYC. Still I wonder who the replacement is, it seems like most people guessing mostly Spring Awakening alums

But isn't there no show on the 7th? Telecharge doesn't have that day listed.

Who's his replacement? Hints??

Why would any of those people work? None of them fit the right sterotype. Neither of them are tall enough to have that commanding stage presence the role demands.

I can honestly not think of anyone, care to give us any hints ILuvYou?

What about Tim Young being promoted? I think he's been with the show for quite some time now, I wouldn't be surprised.

Well if they promote him then they have to find someone else to cover Henry and Gabe. Which seems like more work, ya know?

Hmm that's true. I have no idea.

That sounds like Alex Brightman.

Anyone else fancy a guess?
Brightman is more of a Henry.
I know he's unavailable (touring with Mary Poppins), but Andrew Keenan Bolger would be good in the role.

I agree, but the whole Glory Days debacle and being Boq for the last 6 months fits the "not had a chance to shine" perfectly.

Take it back. I don't want to have to boycott n2n.

If you're thinking about Glory Days people, the obvious choice is Andrew Call.

Just gonna say right now that I am very anti Aaron not being Gabe. I can't imagine anyone else being able to do what he does with it.
However, if Matt Doyle were to do it, then I would actually have much much more interest in seeing the show between June and September

^Apparently it's not a Spring Awakening alum, but I bet Matt Doyle would kill it! I also can't imagine anyone else...Aaron has perfected the role.
i saw the show today...for anyone thinking of seeing the show...See it with Aaron Tveit! He is amazing!

Andrew's been around for more than a year (he was in High Fidelity, which could give him a Tom Kitt Connection) and he hasn't done anything since Glory Days, almost a year ago.
Story has it that it is Kyle Dean Massey...

Andrew Call played Marius in the winter production of Les Miserables at Signature Theatre in DC. Hardly nothing.
While I think it will be hard to top Tveit; I'm actually quite curious on a different take on the role of Gabe. Particularly how it affects Ripley's performance.
I don't think I'll be getting back to N2N until August, which makes me sad.
Kyle Dean Massey resembles Aaron a bit
and I stagedoored yesterday and Aaron was very nice and friendly to all the fans..he was great..but Adam Chanler Baret was very out going and friendly and spoke to everyone and was very happy
and tom kitts relatives where there also
He sure does, it will be interesting to see him!

He looks way too old.
