eh, Agony isnt that great out of the context of the show..Brush Up Your Shakespeare goes on FOREVER..and if the audience thinks that YOU know you are being funny, that song gets old really quick. A buddy and I once did Lily's Eyes as two blind men, and were overly melodramatic when needed, and the audience ate it up. I suppose , Your Nothing Without Me, from City of Angels, but thats not slapstick, more tongue in cheek, but a possibility if done right.

"The Sadder But Wiser Girl" from The Music Man can be fun. Marcellus doesn't have much to sing but can have a lot of snazzy movement, when staged.

Duets for two men as opposed to duets for two women, or duets for one man and one woman. :P

I think the issue being addressed here is the title of the thread. "Two Male Comical Duet" is rather redundant. "Male Comical Duet" would work just fine.

When I read the thread title, I immediately thought of Agony from Into the Woods.

Im telling you, do Lily's Eyes as blind men with canes and selling pencils. It works, trust me. Take a risk, thats what performing is about! Unoriginality is pure Agony!

Thanks everyone. We actually came up with a funny version of LILY'S EYES. No, we weren't blind, but we had some clever things going on. I appreciate the suggestions!!
