Hi guys my best freind who runs the manchester palace theatre has given me some more info on shows that will tour next year(she knows this due to the theatre been contacted etc)

here goes

Excellent - I hope all these are true!. About time Bombay Dreams went on the road. Next year should be a good one for tours!

Acorn Antiques has also been announced for a uk tour early 2007, i know this for sure due to working at the Birmingham Hppodrome and information given on the communiactions meeting early this week, i can't wait for all the shows it's gonna be a brilliant year for a wide selection of new and old musicals. espiecally excited for 'Rent'and 'Our House'

So Excited about seeing woman in white on that list. I really hope it is true. I will be in London In February, but will travel to any part of Englad to see WIW. Doesn't it start in Milton Keyes in January?

I second that - LOVED Our House!! Not quite sure about Acorn Antiques without the original cast though...

So is Gone with the Wind touring then? I'd heard it was looking for a London berth, but an out-of-town tryout can't hurt I suppose

yes gone with the wind is touring first(why they are dragging this out again i dont know as i heard this was awfull when it played in the 70s at drury lane lets hope the changes to it are good)

our house is a great show

acorn antiques starts its tour at the end of this year as its in manchester over christmas at the lowry

Any info on The wiw tour? Cast, dates, stops, etc?

UPDATE

HAIRSPRAY TOUR IS OFF (has decided just to go straight in to london)

WOMAN IN WHITE(def confirmed starts touring in feb or march)
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS(starts touring april)
DREAMGIRLS(starts touring march)
PRODUCERS(kicks of the tour at the begining of febuary with a six week run at the manchester palace)
RENT(still no news)
GUYS AND DOLLS(confirmed claire sweeny and patrick swayze will tour with the show)
FAME(opens april)

The Hairspray tour is off????? Noooooooooooo, gutted! I wonder if that will go to the Piccadilly where Guys and Dolls is at the mo. Hhhmmm... It would b gud if Patrick Swayze is touring with Claire Sweeney, i think its at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham over Christmas, not sure tho.

Its Nigel Harmen and Claire Sweeney in the UK Tour.

A set has now become available for Hairspray (Las Vagas show closed) Clear Channel havent, as yet, confirmed London for Hairspray, however 2007 will see Hairspray more than likley in the UK - tour prior to WE or WE straight away. I do know that Guys and Dolls houses have been down and they are really taking a sort of "last shot" of boosting houses for Guys and Dolls with Swayze. Guys and Dolls is also a Clear Channel show and so I'd say if Hairspray does come straight to London it will be at The Piccadilly in replacement of Guys and Dolls - however - the theatre maybe too small. I did also hear the show is looking at The New London...a reallyuseful theatre who was originally and coming to house the show when it was coming in 2005.

Thats still gud, Nigel Harmans a gooder choice than any. As you say, Patrick Swayze is a very subtle marketing ploy for Guys and Dolls! I just hope that Hairspray does manage to tour at some point, it is stirring a lot of interest and feel it would be a great success over here. Thankyou for the info.

well according to the confomation letter the palace has its patrick swayze doing the tour but hey im sure there both great

The las vegas set for hairspray will NEVER be used in this country as its huge so the fact the vegas show has closed really makes no difference.

As for bombay and our house i havent heard anything new as yet

also Carrie is set for uk national tour in 2007
