those were the days. We will never have message boards like that again.

An Innocent comment is made, or an opinion... and they are attacked.

It's a bad year for threads.

If this one isn't nominated for a Tony, will it close? And if it does, what thread would take its place?

The ushers were so goddamn strict back then. If anyone tried taking a picture they would just... burn the phones.

Thanks for noticing JBM2. People do get bent out of shape on silly stuff.

I have been attacked for hating the musical Sister Act. Many Many times. And for bringing it up every chance I get. OOps I just did it again. (ducking)

But I understand their point. We all love theatre and have passionate opinions about what we like and don't like. Its human nature for people to want other people to have the same opinions you do. It gives me an opportunity to develop a thicker skin in real life with people I will probably never meet.

So I understand when people want to shoot you down. I just take it out on the dog
who thrives on abuse.

Actually a very close friend worked at the Globe and she says that the actor who played Hamlet was a huge misogynist, totally slept with every woman in the show, and she said that the Ophelia just would not shut up about how the show was written by a man who hated women! Huge drama.

I sure am. I mean, the best new posters didn't even make it through December because no one replied to them, and some noxious trolls overstayed their welcome without even opening up for real. Don't even get me started on great posters starring in not one, not two, but three disappointing threads in one season.

At least next season we get to hear people complain about not being cast in Rent and the actual opening of Spider-Man.

None of the threads were that memorable, and I strain to remember even one post from them to recite as I walk down the street. Okay, there were some good threads with some good posts, but nothing we'll remember for years to come.

Of course, like every season, the best threads were in the OFF board. Why couldn't one transfer?

I think that this season's message board was one of the best, and we haven't even gotten to the "_________ was robbed of a Tony" threads yet.

How can you dismiss a season that had 400 Spider Man threads, each one more indignant that the last?
And then there was the huge flop that is Kyle4 (or whatever).

Granted, several regulars were conspicuously absent. But I bet most of them are actually here with new screen names.

I'm not liking the lack of variation in kyle4's use of ellipses. We get it, we get it, you can use ellipses. Why not four period marks? Why not five? Hell, go crazy and use only two. Only three is monotonous.
What I'm saying is I need even more sass. Until we get that, I'm not sure he's really a contender for any awards.
