Upgrading OBO tickets?

Ive heard lots of stories on here about upgrading tickets through Ticketmaster when better seats become available for a show. Has anyone had success with this at a box office? Specifically asking for the Kerr but appreciate any stories. TIA

Order Box Office. Just purchased in person at the box office, rather than through Ticketmaster.

I've bought tickets at the box office and later upgraded my seats (after premium tix were reduced to regular orch prices) and didn't have any issue.

I did this for Moulin Rouge on a Monday (their off day) so the box office wasn't busy. I'm not sure what they had to do on their end but the whole transaction took around 5 minutes so try to do it when they're not busy.

Thank you! Exactly what I'm looking to do -- and at Hadestown, which seems to use all the same systems.

Yeah they're both Jujamcyn so I'd imagine they'd have a similar policy. 

When I went to the box office, I brought the original tickets and the receipt. Good luck!!! 

The first question they asked me was where I originally bought the ticket. If I answered Ticketmaster, I have a feeling they might have forwarded me to ticketmaster to process the upgrade; but since I originally bought it there at the box office, they were able to make the changes no problem.

Just got back and they were happy to make the switch. I'm now in seats that retail for $249 for $79 

Thanks for the info so I knew it wouldn't be a wasted trip!
