Vacant houses this Fall?

Three theaters currently remain vacant for the Fall - The Beaumont, The Cort, & The Music Box . Any idea what could be going into them? GOTTA DANCE to the Music Box? The MASTER BUILDER to the Cort?

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Don't remember the thread but someone had mentioned the Cort was going to be getting a face lift.

Forgot about that. So only the Music Box is currently available. Reports are saying the Beaumont will also be sitting empty this Fall. I wonder why LCT has nothing planned right away?

Ralph Fiennes said in a recent interview that the production of Richard III he's currently doing in London will be transferring to the West End in the fall so that means that a transfer of The Master Builder is unlikely this season.

Sadly it looks like a transfer of Photograph 51 isn't happening either. They would've announced dates by now if it were happening.

I was really hoping Master Builder was coming this fall. Fiennes is my favorite actor.

Perhaps a secondary reason Shuffle Along is closing is because Scott Rudin has something else in mind he would like to produce this fall in the Music Box.

I'd imagine LCT rented the Kerr for FALSETTOS because they thought THE KING & I would be running for a much longer time (at least through the end of this calendar year.) Not surprising they don't have something lined up for the Beaumont for the fall. They could bring in a rental of course though.

I don't remember seeing any specific timeline on the RICHARD III with Fiennes for a West End or Broadway transfer. Baz's column last week mentioned complex negotiations to bring it to the West and possibly Broadway.

That's not true. It's only June.
