Thought people might be interested to see this. It's a nice little video with a bunch of interviews on the show's opening night in London as well as most of 'Show Off', performed by Summer Strallen. There are three clips from the song in the video - at the beginning, in the middle, and right at the end, if you just want to look for them but skip the interviews. :)

She has such a deep speaking voice. O_O I definitely wish she were still blonde. I enjoyed her - and, indeed, the whole cast - when I saw the show though. ^_^

Although I think Summer looks more beautiful with the brunette hair she has now than the blonde I remember her having last summer!

It was a good show! I saw it in LA, and then once durring previews in London and enjoyed it tremendously. Summer was great as janet, as was the rest of the cast. Elaine Page was alright, but her performance throughout the show felt weak, and needed a little more oomph.

Summer is AMAZING! By far THE best thing in the show with Bob! When I saw her... I completely forgotten about Sutton! She's more than a triple threat!
The London cast is great and is as gd, if not better, than the Original Broadway Cast. I do like Summer as a brunette than blonde (not that she looks bad in any of those!)

Looks fantastic! Summer is gorgeous, and she seems to have a completely individual take on the role. I wish I could see this in London!

Don't really get the Donna Murphy comparison.
Summer sounds great, looks like a VERY different approach to the role from Foster's. I wish I could see her in the role, she definitely can move those legs.

Also, why doesn't Janet do the cartwheels anymore? I noticed Janine LaManna didn't do them and Summer doesn't either. Did they just change it because it was too strenuous?

Yeah I don't see the Donna Murphy comparison at all. It looks fantastic but why did they only focus on Show Off? I was hoping to hear Elaine sing "As We Stumble..." even though I've read conflicting reviews about her.

Thank you for the link, Joshyest of all Joshys. Summer Strallen does a fine job--makes for a more mature Janet and doesn't emulate Sutton's performance, although I do enjoy Sutton's energy more. In fact, I wish I had tenth of her metabolic rate. But it looks like a fine company there in London, there.
