And here I was, thinking you were SERIOUS!

The Tony Awards Administration Committee met, considered the infraction and have issued a serious warning to the producers of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? The infraction which involved using abbreviated quotes from the critical reviews, were consistent with the overall intent of those reviews, and therefore the committee determined that no further action would be taken on this issue.

Although I can appreciate the Tony Committee always being so laid-back, sometimes I think they are a little too "free and easy".
The Tony Committe's rule for brochures can now be officially amended to read:

...must be reprinted in their entirety unless they are consistent with the overall intent of those reviews and.

(The "and" would signify their openness to future ammendments.)

So essentially the commitee said since Who's afraid of Virgnia Woolfe? Opened to unanimous praise taking blurbs from different reviews is actually better for voters since they now only have to read a few sentences to understand the production's awesomeness rather than reading several pages of monotiness praise.
If Virgina Woolfe wasn't an amazing and awe inspiring production that had closed pre tony season, I'm sure the Tony would have done something to punish it.
