Hi guys,
A friend and I have booked a 2 week trip to NYC (from Australia) and hoping for some advice on getting tickets. It looks like most of the ones we want to see generally don’t have discount tickets or will be brand new.
First question - we’re hoping to see Beetlejuice and Tootsie which both start previews half way through our trip - are these likely to be on TKTS given there won’t be much word of mouth yet? Or do we have no hope in hell outside paying full price. And I assume lotteries/rushes wouldn’t be happening in its first week of shows?
Second - if we enter multiple lotteries each day and see what we get, if we win tickets to more than 1 can we decline these and then will it affect our chances if we want to try again?
Third - for Hamilton (the show we most desperately want to see) are the only options paying a ****load or taking your chances in the lottery?
Fourth - do you think Mean Girls will still be going strong around that time or possibly be a chance on TKTS?
Fifth - Be More Chill will have been out a month- do you think it’s goinf to be crazy popular?
FYI our main ones we want to see (in order) are: Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, Be More Chill, Beetlejuice, Tootsie, Frozen, Waitress
Thanks so much :)
