I thought this was hysterical! The headline certainly grabbed my attention.
I was so wtf till the 2nd or 3rd paragraph. I laughed so hard I cried! (While my students were taking state mandated testing--some actually asked if I was ok I was crying so much!)
Best April's Fools Prank EVER!!!
I didn't buy any of the stories this year. Last year I do think they got me though so this year I was sort of settled to not believe any Broadway news. I can't believe people would buy this one though, come on, it's Arthur Laurents, he would never Sheik (or anyone) come anywhere near the Bernstein/Sondheim songs. The article itself is hilarious though.
What an odd April fool. I knew the minute I logged on and read the title. I was sure they'd pull something more believeable than this. Funny but fake.

This one, I must admit, had me at first.
It wasn't until "Gee Office Krupke" that I really figured it out.
I'm slow.
But this is funny, really funny. couldnt have said it better! lol
I got it right away! :)

Ok, I'm sorta still kinda outa touch with things Broadway. What types of risks are we talking about with the Gypsy revival?

fortunately that that point I'd seen two other Broadway pranks, so I didn't fall for it at all. but I laughed out loud at the "Orange Summer" thing! Personally, I liked Broadway.com's "Miley Cyrus to join Grease" better...even though none of them were believable.
Oh my God! I totally did not catch on to the whole "April Fool's" joke! Good one BWW!

They fooled me, when I saw the subject line I thought "no they can't" but then I thought "I'm just old and stuck in the past, what do I know." I'm glad it's not true. Very funny. LOL.
Silly silly. I wish I hadn't been expecting it.
The one about Raul Esparza and Julia Murney last year almost had me. Did anyone happen to save it?

I was completely fooled until "orange winter" and "word of your bullets"
AHHH I was believing this while I was skimming it until I read "replaced by Totally F*CKed"

Wow. As I read the title and the first paragraph, I immediately thought of how my response to this thread would simply be, "NO."
I hate this day.
I normally HATE this day as well (particularly as a mom and a teacher).
But since this made me laugh so much....it made the day bearable.

Didn't really find the headline particularly funny because it was so astoundingly obvious, but the article itself was pretty funny.
Sorry, not funny to me. The thought literally made me vomit.
Literally made you vomit? You might want to have that looked at, I somehow think there's got to be more to that sort of reaction than Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater can really take responsible credit for.
