Of people I've seen live, I think of Len Cariou, John McMartin, Raul Julia, Harry Groener, John Cullum. I think that Peter Gallagher could have been one of the greats. I wish that Joel Higgins had created leading roles on Broadway in good shows. He was a terrific replacement in Oklahoma! and City of Angels.

Of the younger guys, I like Brian D'Arcy James and Norbert Leo Butz.
