For me - of actor/singers I have actually seen live in a musical - it's a choice between BRENT BARRETT and JOHN BARROWMAN.
But the star I would most love to see live in a musical role is MANDY PATINKIN. He's a great actor and his voice thrills and moves me every time I listen to him sing. I was privileged to attend one of his concerts at the Almeida theater in London back in 1996 - just a bare stage with Mandy and pianist Paul Ford - and that is still the most wonderful evening I have ever spent in a theater anywhere. He is sheer magic.
