I have always been a fan of John Cullum. I had the honor of seeing him in "On the Twentieth Century" 25 years ago and thought he was terrific. His performance in "Shenandoah" is considered one of the all-time best. And his turn in "Urinetown" proved that he still has it, even in his 70s.

I think I was in the minority of opinion of John Cullum in Urinetown. I thought he was the weakest link in the show. He was stumbling lines and forgetting lyrics. The show would move at such a great rhythm and then stop dead in its tracks each time it was Cullum's turn. I did see him and Ann Crumb in a terrific Man of La Mancha, though.

Thank you, Broadway Lady. I was waiting for someone to mention Brian Stokes Mitchell. He is one of the undisputed Kings of Broadway.
Brent Barrett is number two. He is a wonderful leading man. He can sing anything and thrill me with his performance.

Brent Barrett of course!
And maybe Michael West from Forbidden Broadway but he can not sing like Brent. But I think Michael is the funniest performer Off-Broadway. Love his Harvey!
Favorite writer:Gerard Alexsandrini- He is a god!
