I guess, and this isn't meant to offend anyone, but everyone builds Stephanie up to be the ultimate Elphaba, and I guess I just didn't get it. Especially in any of the scenes with Sebastian. She seemed really stiff -- and As Long As You're Mine seemed extremely one sided. She's an amazing performer, and she was still good, I just expected more and felt she was stiff. I don't know.
Then again, most people dislike Kendra and I thought she was just fantastic. She wasn't too over-the-top, just enough to make you wanna grab her shoulders and shake her a little -- which is I think how Glinda should be.
I'll write up a review later today.

Yes, you can still play the lotto even if you already have seats. Fair? Maybe not. But I figure if you're nice enough to sell the ones you have for face value should you win it kind of balances things out.
slight threadjack: I would also add if you're nice enough to sell them to just one person at face value...I watched this woman at the L.A. Wicked lotto wayback who had tix for the show, then won the lotto, and had apparently told about 30 different people that she'd sell them her tix if she won the lotto, so she then turned it into some type of contest as to who was good enough to buy her tix ("I want to sell them to a mother and daughter..." "no, a mother with a young daughter..." "how old's your daughter?" etc.).
Which I guess was her right and all, but I was just watching it all 'cause I was totally waiting for someone to get tired of her and just grab her tickets and run away... :)

At least I know I won't be the only one to have done it. It's pretty much up to my mom what to do with the tickets if we win since she bought them.
I would find that soooo funny if a fight broke out, as long as it wasn't with me for entering the lotto with tickets.

I had a lady yell at me in NYC while I was playing the lotto. She was asking my friend and I if we had seen the show before (she hadn't, I had) and when I said that I had seen it, she proceeded to tell me that there are people who aren't able to see the show once, let alone more than once, and I should just drop out and give more people a chance.
Her daughter won. We didn't.

At one of the L.A. lottos (Popular, I think you might've been there for this one too?) this woman's name was drawn, and she wasn't there because she was at the ATM. And you know how you have to be there when your name is drawn, or else they throw your name out and pick a new one right? Well she came back from the ATM and begged and complained and so the box office guy 'compromised' and instead of throwing her name out he didn't give her the tix, but he did put her name back in the drum...And then like four names later ATM Woman's name was picked yet *again*.
So she was all happy and whatever, but I was totally waiting for the rest of the grumbling crowd to get angry about it. I've never really seen a 'fight' fight at the lotto.

Does that have anything to do with the PITTSBURGH WICKED LOTTO?

It's not really that I'm a bad reviewer and I have to take notes -- I just sort of get so caught up in shows most of the time that it's hard for me to type it or say it after the fact. I mean, I guess I have a solution for this -- cough, wink -- but I just might write some things down at intermission. I'm sitting alone while my family lingers in the second tier. I'm kinda sad, actually.
I wonder if anything exciting will go on. Fun to think about, I suppose!

Sara called me and left a message about Jenna being in as Elphaba. I kind of got excited. No offense, obviously.
I will be there tomorrow, and I AM SO EXCITED I CAN'T TAKE IT.
Obviously, I'm there for Jenna. But everyone else is just awesome!
