Apparently, June 18 is now the set release date.

That means they'll have it for auditions at my middle school....
You have no idea how happy I am that I'm leaving that place for good in two weeks.

hope that works - if not just go to wickedthemusical.com and follow the links to the Ozdust boutique
Finally! But sadly a week too late for Erin's chorus finals. So I guess I'll be listening to Popular all summer, as she preps for Fall Caberet!

At leaset I'll now get "Ten Years More" out of my head.

Thanks SCMmom!
I'm so happy- it's got great songs on it!
Just in case this hasn't been posted, The people in Colony Records are really cool.. pre-orders are coming out within the next week or so and it only costs $18.00 for the sheet music with tax included.
Oh, lord. Just imagine how many times one will be hearing Defying Gravity belted out of key by girls with mediocre voices. School talent shows, beware! This might actually be preferable to the the Mariah trend that has dominated for years at such events. And this might even put a damper on the popu-u-larity of Seasons of Love.
Oh yeah...At one of my schools in Montgomery County Maryland (elementary school), over half my kids have seen WICKED. With Elementary school, we'll see what their "Defying Gravities" sound like. Although, my voice teacher couldn't believe me that I was getting them to do "For Good."
Jesus H. Christ, at my school, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who has seen it, probably the only one buying the music as well. Lucky for me, I guess, I won't get sick of it as fast as all of you!

Wicked's just starting to infiltrate the theatre program at my university, so I think I'm pretty safe for now :).
Does anyone know if the music is being released in Canada any time soon or am I going to have to order off an American site?

Judy,
I'm in Canada as well. I just asked my local music store to keep an eye out. As it's being published by Hal Leonard, (I believe), your local store should have access to it and should be able to order it in for you.
