No. I would say "Cats" was the first sit-down, followed by "Les Miserables" and "The Phantom of the Opera." Then "Joseph", "Show Boat" and "Ragtime". I think all went on tour after leaving Chicago, except for "Ragtime" which closed because of Livent's implosion. There have probably been others, but I'm not that old. Those are the ones I know about. Oh, "Miss Saigon" should go in there as well. Also, when you say sit-down, most of these were scheduled to tour, but they booked indefinitely in Chicago. I think "Ragtime" had the shortest run, at 6 months.

PATRONUS - HAHAHAHAHA!
Is Sean McCourt still the understudy for the Wizard? (As he is Dr. Dillamond now - and not very good).
He is still my favorite Wizard.
But lucky Chicago!
(And YES, he was taking pictures with people - I just didn't want one)

What situation? It isn't unusual for performers to go from Broadway to the Tour and vice-versa. What's unusual is that it is occuring mid-contract.
Is that a green earring in Ben's ear? If so, that entertained me.
