"They have a show at 7 on Sunday... from what I've read, you're going to the matinee, right?"

Nope, 7:00PM!

Saw the show again last night, hadn't seen it since previews. What I saw was a much tighter show and the audience seemed to get a hoot out of it. So it's not fantastic, it had enough moments to keep it entertaining. Pity a show like this dies and a borscht belt show like Addams Family keep slogging along. I know, money, money.....

FWIW, they're still insisting that a cast album of the show will be made (at least according to the pre-order lady). There's hope for life after closing.

When I saw whio would be part of this musical I could not wait for it to open because it had practically every A-list Broadway actor you could think of. It's unfortunate that the songs and book didn't allow these actors to show how talented they really are.

Wow, I'm so glad I sas this just in time (we decided to see this last Wednesday instead of putting it off 'til mid-January). It's not an excellent show, but sure was a fun time. And any chance to see Patti LuPone and Laura Benanti on stage is worth it.

So I saw the matinee yesterday (12/29) and I absolutely loved it! Very few shows make me literally laugh out loud, and this one did. I went in with no expectations and no clue to the plot and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'm sad to see it close and really think people were too hard on it...

On a side note: I have a new found love for Laura Benati. Tony Award? I think yes.

My best to the cast and crew.

Yeah, had the show run longer Laura should have totally won the TONY.

I saw the show again tonight on a whim, and I have to say I really love the show. Sure, it has its flaws, and sure the show maybe too big for the theater, but it's an enjoyable show. It has a pretty good score. With the exception of "Madrid" and "LoveSick" I think most of the songs are pretty good and worth a listen.

That's what makes a horse race... "Madrid" and "Lovesick" are my two favorite songs in the show and I think you have no taste musically. Ah well.
