I know there are other threads devoted to this but last year it was announced that the long delayed “Broadway4D” was finding a home at the long vacant Liberty Theatre in Times Square, and almost a year later and…nothing…is it even happening at all? If anybody knows anything about it a year later, lmk
There haven’t been any updates I’m aware of but considering this was a project that was first announced in Obama’s first term, I wouldn’t be holding my breath.

This project pretty much died when one of its lead producers was accused by multiple people (including a very famous actor) of child molestation. Google it.
I wonder if someone is trying to scoop up the theater to buy
The accusations against Singer were what killed the project many years ago (around 2014 I believe) when it was slated for the Times Square Theater. So I was shocked when this thing resurfaced in articles last year, which stated that producers had landed the Liberty Theatre.
The articles I read don't seem to actually mention who the producers are. So I have no idea if Singer is actually still attached to this. I assume they have had this video laying around all these years (last I heard, all of the planned songs had been recorded, and many of them were already filmed) and they finally want to cash in on the investment of that filming process. The Liberty needs quite serious renovations before it could open for a major tourist attraction like this, so if they are indeed moving forward, I assume they are still in the construction phase.
Remarkably, it wasn’t just Singer, it was also his friend Gary Goddard, who developed the project in the first place.
