Lots available this weekend. Don't see any discounts. Love Sara but ...
That's a good sign if there are lots available. It means they will soon be $199 seats... happened last weekend, too.

My daughter would love to see Waitress tomorrow. Since there are no rush or discounts available (and she's on a pretty tight budget), is Stubhub last minute the best plan? You think there is chance that the remaining tickets could end up on tkts? Or, does the theatre ever discount the $100 tickets or is it just the premium that adjusts if there are many left?
Thanks!

I have done standing room for Waitress and it is a great discount and the standing room spots are excellent in terms of view and sound. When I was waiting for SRO they were also selling $79 partial view seats (though availability or price may have changed since then) until the house truly sold out and they started with standing room. It was either $30 or $40 and a great experience overall, though standing in line and then for the show was tiring

They don't do TKTS. Was there tonight. Looked sold out, including the seat directly across the aisle from me that I last saw listed at $400.
Totally worth the $199 for third row side if you can afford it. Sara's acting is surprisingly good and how often do you get to hear an artist perform their own songs on Broadway. I think the rest of the cast with the replacements was even better than when I saw it with Jessie.
Waited 45 minutes after but Sara still hadn't come out when I left. People were in the street and there was a fender bender. Guy tried to drive away but the women from the other car blocked him with their bodies till the cops came. A little extra drama.
edit: I kept checking the TKTS app and it said not available. I guess during the week it's a different story.

I paid $200 - from Ticketmaster or TeleCharge - and have zero regrets. One of my favorite new shows, and to hear one of my favorite artists sing the song she wrote: priceless.

If you look at the website, the best availability for tickets is on Tuesday and Wednesday...so those are your best chances to find the show listed on TKTS...and may lessen chances on those days to be able to purchase standing room (which they USUALLY only do - as noted- when the show is sold out)

I didn't know they did standing room. My daughter is still trying to find a way to see the show this afternoon but is on a tight budget. There are a few tickets still available for regular price, should she go over to the box office and wait for them to sell out? I didn't realize standing room was an option for Waitress.
^ I'd say it is definitely worth a shot to try for standing room - a line tends to form before they sell them, so if nothing else she'll be in line for when they do sell them. They will only sell them when they are completely sold out and generally there's about 12 spots but there could be less.
Just got a box seat for later in the run, seemed pretty easy, got my first choice. They did up the price to $99 though
