Waitress To Close - Bareilles' Instagram?

Sara has been posting some pretty cathartic/nostalgic things on her Instagram story... I'm assuming that Waitress will be announcing a closing date tomorrow.

They just announced Todrick Hall/Miranda Sings coming in until September 15th a few days ago, I feel like they wouldn’t post a closing notice until they at least had a better sense of if/how that affected the advance.

And I could be wrong about this but I feel like if it was going to close Sara might come back and do a final couple weeks which would put the closing into October, so they probably wouldn’t announce it this early.

One of the posts said it was the anniversary of when Waitress started rehearsal at ART. Could be coincidental and just a stroll down memory lane. We'll see.

They started rehearsals for the ART production four years ago today. Lots of reminiscing on multiple pages.

4yrs ago they had their first rehearsal. Stephanie Torns and Jeremy Morse posted about it also since they along with Charity were there since the beginning.

The only thing closing is the tour in August.

could they be doing a 2NT because they posted something about Waitress being in another state in 2020...like going to Philadelphia or something?

They are indeed doing a 2NT which will be non equity. It's coming to Hershey,PA which oddly enough is where I first saw some chick named Christine Dwyer in a non equity tour of Rent in 2008.

Didn't seem to imply a closing. I think this show has enough legs to make it to January 2020 but after then Im not so sure.
