I picked two up about 3PM yesterday, shouldn't be a problem.
Now what would you say if today I started over?
Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover
And I'll pretend like everything is already alright
And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight
Just wondering if anyone has rushed a Saturday recently.
I'm thinking of trying a lottery and if I lose, I'll probably see The Wedding Singer, so I'm just wondering what the availability is like around 12 or 1.
Also, people keep saying that they got the "last" student rush ticket, but I thought if they sell out the front row, they sell whatever's left in the house... Has The Wedding Singer really been selling out or do people just mean that they got the last seat in the front row? Or did the people at the BO say that that was the last student rush ticket, in which case, is it just the front row now and then they stop selling tickets?
I rushed on Saturday. Got there just as the Saturday Matinee started to rush a ticket for the Saturday evening performance. I was sold seat B6 in the right Orchestra. Fabulous seat for a show that left me with a huge smile on my face.
Yes, you can give the second ticket to your mother even though she is not a student.
I've never done rush on a Saturday, but it's probably more crowded. If you really want front row, I'd get there an hour before box office opens just to make sure. If front row is sold out, they'll still sell whatever is available through rush for you. Have fun!
Still, if you can afford to go to TKTS, i think their tix are much better. The student tix are cool if you've seen the show many times, like i have, becuz the front row is partial view.
